Filling a baked potato with baked beans or cottage cheese is probably the best way to add taste and more nutrition to this low calorie food.

4. Nuts – Almonds,macadamia, pistachio nuts and walnuts. Almonds have been shown beneficial in reducing bad cholesterol while macadamia nuts may help fight cancer. Choose nonfat or low-fat milk, yogurt and cheese and aim for three servings a day. Frozen yogurt doesn’t count.

People try to do this all to often. When losing weight they want to get
down to their ideal size within weeks which realistically isn’t going
to happen, well not in any healthy way.

There are these ‘super’ diets that promise a huge weight loss in such 
a short period of time. Now if you’ve ever tried one of these you may
have had great results but at what cost ? Do you find once you finish
the diet and eat normally the weight comes straight back on ?

These diets claim their results are based on the chemical reaction the 
food has within your body. That sounds clever right, but there not
telling you the truth! It’s got nothing to do with chemical reactions.
The reason these diets will make you drop the weight fast is because
they drop your calorie intake to a very low amount, this is very
dangerous. A lot of people get really bad headaches when doing these
diets and feel really light headed all the time. So because you calorie
intake has been dropped to below a 1/3 on average your body starts 
burning that stored fat for energy! Now after a few days of this your 
body will enter ‘starvation’ mode. So when you start eating normally
your body takes that food and immediately stores it as fat because it 
doesn’t know when more food is coming! So effectively putting that 
weight you lost back on.

Guys don’t be fooled by these diets because in reality they promise you
a lot but deliver very little. A diet can never compete with a healthy
lifestyle. So instead of ‘dieting’ and wasting your time just embrace
a healthy balanced lifestyle with 3-4 times a week of good exercise.
This is the healthiest way to drop them pounds and in the long run your
feel better for it, because you know that you done it.

So throw away all them ‘super’ diets you have or any short term diets
and start living your life the healthy way and you will see results.
